On bent knee in the snow, actor Chris Zylka, 32, proposed to hotel heiress, model and reality TV star, Paris Hilton, 36, over the New Year weekend in Aspen, Colorado. Hilton literally jumped at Zylka, saying “yes” to him and the pear-shaped diamond engagement ring, reportedly valued at approximately US $2 million.
Video footage of the proposal on Hilton’s Instagram page, and a public epistle to her fiancée, has triggered a chain reaction of comments.
Hilton took to social media to thank Zylka for showing her that fairytales do exist. “I feel like the luckiest girl in the world! You are my dream come true!”, she wrote.
But it’s the pear-shaped, split band halo ring (22 carats total) that’s stealing the show.
It appears that even Hilton can’t take her eyes off the sparkler, with pictures on her Instagram page of her admiring her rock and posed photos on the ski slope showing it off to brilliant effect.
