Stackable Rings
Stackable rings are a fun way to accessorise your look. You can constantly create a new style with different combinations of a few pieces. This is an affordable way to accessorise without having to buy more jewellery. Stackable rings have even become popular as an alternative to traditional engagement and wedding band combinations.
At Secrets Shhh, our varieties of stackable rings include
- Minimalist rings. These thin bands are perfect if you prefer subtle, understated jewellery. They come in various metals, including sterling silver, 10-carat gold, white gold, and rose gold.
- Bold rings. If you want to make a statement, larger-size rings are an excellent base for stacking with minimalist rings.
- Colourful rings. Mix and match stones and metals in different shades or stick to one colour palette. For ring stones, we offer a range of lab-grown quality diamond simulants and coloured gemstone simulants that display superior brilliance and beauty. Our gemstone simulants are available in every colour of the rainbow! Choose from red, pink, champagne, yellow, green, aqua, midnight blue, and purple.
How do you style stackable rings? Try mixing different metals or stones for a truly unique look. You can also layer multiple minimalist band rings of the same metal to create an elegant yet bold statement. Don’t be afraid to experiment! When it comes to stackable rings, there’s something for everyone at Secrets Shhh.
Questions About Stackable Rings?
How do you wear stackable rings?
Some people choose complementary wedding rings that can be stacked on the same finger as a set. For example, the design of the wedding band might perfectly match the band on the engagement ring and sit flush alongside it, nestled behind the gemstone. Over time, you may also add to your collection of particularly personal and meaningful rings, such as anniversary or memorial rings. These can either be stacked on the same finger, on an adjacent finger, or on the other hand. However, there is also a rising trend for stackable fashion rings as a style choice. This gives you the freedom to combine several different ring styles and gemstones to create a uniquely personal look. To avoid overloading your fingers, it tends to work best to choose one statement ring for your ring stack, and then a single ring on the next finger. The middle finger works well for stackable rings, with thicker and heavier rings at the bottom and more slender and delicate rings higher up. Don’t be afraid of mixing metal tones and gemstone colours – stackable rings are all about experimenting and being creative. At your local Secrets Shhh boutique, our experts can give you personalised styling advice and help you combine and stack your pieces with confidence.
Where do you buy stackable rings?
You can buy stackable rings from many online jewellers or in store. At Secrets Shhh, we have a huge collection of rings in various metal tones, featuring our lab grown diamond and gemstone simulants. Our rings are only available from our website or in store – you won’t find them anywhere else. When you visit us in person, our expert jewellery stylists can give you tailored advice and recommendations to help you select some complementary pieces. We can show you how to stack them to create your own signature look, and how to combine stones, colours and styles for different effects to suit various outfits and occasions.
How do you keep stackable rings together?
If you’re wearing multiple rings and they tend to slide around or separate on your finger, there are a couple of options for making them stay put. The first thing is to make sure that your rings are sized correctly. If they feel loose, you can get them resized at your local Secrets Shhh boutique so that they fit snugly. Two rings can also be professionally soldered together, but only if you are committed to always wearing these two pieces as a pair – such as an engagement ring and a wedding band. We recommend that you ensure they are sized to fit your finger and then let them move around as that is part of the stackable appeal.
How do you size stackable rings?
It all comes down to how you plan to stack to your rings, and what kind of look you’re going for. If you are stacking rings that all have fairly thin bands, around 2mm or thinner, you should be able to buy these rings in your normal size. You can measure the circumference of your finger using a piece of string (or take a ring you already own) and compare it against a ring size chart to find your true size. For wider bands, you may find that you need to go half a size up for your rings to stack comfortably. If you plan to wear a ring higher up your finger – between your nail and knuckle (a midi ring), you will likely need to go down in sizes from your normal ring size as this part of the finger is more slender. Never assume that one finger will be the same size as the next – think about how you plan to wear and stack your rings, and measure each finger for size before ordering. At Secrets Shhh our team of experts are here to assist you in choosing the right rings and the right size.
How many stackable rings can you stack?
The great thing about stackable rings is that they are all about self-expression and personal choice. You can stack as many rings as you like, as long as you feel comfortable. Some people find that more than 4 rings on a finger starts to feel a bit overloaded and restrictive. But it also depends whether you’re stacking thin, delicate bands, or wider and bulkier pieces. You may choose to stack 3 or 4 rings on one finger, and then balance this out with one standalone statement piece on the next finger. It really is up to you, and it’s a process of trial and error until you find a combination that looks and feels just right. At your local Secrets Shhh boutique, our dedicated jewellery specialists can give you tailored recommendations and personalised styling advice to help you find the right pieces for your signature look. We carry a vast and exciting range of rings suitable for stacking.
